DeWalt D24000S
DeWalt D24000S
A sliding-cart wet saw for ordinary bathroom floor tile
Why it fits
- D24000S is our first pick for a dedicated bathroom-floor setup with a sliding cart and stand. DeWalt lists up to 25-inch rip cuts, 28 inches with a plunge, and an 18-by-18-inch tile on the diagonal. The selected S package includes the folding D24001 stand, 10-inch DW4764 porcelain blade, pump, pan, side/rear water trays, cart extension and angle/rip guide. The head bevels to 45 degrees. Adjustable water nozzles and return trays manage the wet-cutting workflow. Match the blade and actual tile thickness to the saw instructions; the 10-inch blade diameter is not its rip capacity. A stand, cart and water pan take more setup and storage than a benchtop saw. [1] [2] [3]

RIDGID 7-inch Wet Tile Saw with Stand
RIDGID 7-inch Wet Tile Saw with Stand
A smaller-blade cart saw with plunge and bevel functions
Why it fits
- R4031S is the seven-inch cart-saw choice for a buyer wanting a stand and plunge head. RIDGID specifies a 24-inch rip, 18-inch diagonal tile capacity and 2-1/4-inch depth of cut. The head makes 0- and 45-degree bevels and permits plunge cuts. The package lists a seven-inch cutting wheel, adjustable stand, pump, water tray, splash guard, miter guide and blade wrench. The guard baffle, deep water tray and pump sediment barrier are water-management features. They do not establish a dry room or dust-free cutting. The maker lists ceramic and porcelain, but the blade must still match the material and finish required. [4] [5] [6]

SKIL 3550-02 Hydro Lock
SKIL 3550-02 Hydro Lock
A compact tabletop setup for smaller floor tile
Why it fits
- 3550-02 is the compact benchtop pick for smaller tile layouts. Its manual specifies an 18-by-18-inch rip tile size, 12-by-12-inch diagonal and bevel tile size, and 3/4-inch maximum cutting depth. The aluminum tabletop has a sliding side support, adjustable rip fence and miter gauge. Bevel settings are 0, 22.5 and 45 degrees; a seven-inch diamond blade is listed in the package. Hydro Lock contains water near the blade, but does not make wet cutting spill-free. Feed the tile on the table with the prescribed guide and support. The 18-inch side-support headline is not an 18-inch-square diagonal rating. Plan a stable work surface; no stand is assumed. [7] [8] [9]

DeWalt D36000S
DeWalt D36000S
Long plank and large-format floor cuts
Why it fits
- D36000S is the capacity upgrade when longer floor cuts outgrow a compact cart. DeWalt lists a 37-inch rip, 41 inches with a plunge and 18 inches of clearance to the left of the blade. The manual specifies a 3-1/8-inch depth of cut and bevel angles of 22.5 and 45 degrees. The S package includes D24001 stand, DW4764 porcelain blade, pump, water pan/trays, cart extension and angle/rip guide. The maker lists the saw at 91 pounds, so storage and transport matter. The 24-by-24-inch and 18-by-36-inch figures on its product page describe water-tray containment, not diagonal cutting ratings. Check the tile’s actual cut path and support rather than treating every capacity headline as interchangeable. [10] [11] [12]
Before you choose
- The larger saw and water-tray setup can be excessive for a one-off small bathroom; plunge length is not ordinary cart travel. [10] [11] [12]

RUBI DU-200 EVO 850
RUBI DU-200 EVO 850
A moving-head rail saw for renovation work
Why it fits
- DU-200 EVO 850 is the moving-head alternative to a sliding-cart saw. Select US reference 54976, 120 V / 60 Hz, rather than the overseas-voltage versions on the same page. The US model row lists a 33-inch cutting length, 1-3/8-inch cutting height, 3/4-inch miter thickness and an eight-inch CEV SUPERPRO blade. The headline uses a slightly different length, so check the selected model row and actual tile fit. The maker sheet describes folding legs, wheels, two handles and an external water tank. It positions the saw for floor/wall tile and occasional porcelain cutting. Confirm blade suitability for repeated hard-porcelain work and diagonal clearance; do not infer either from rail length alone. [13] [14] [15]
Before you choose
- Check the US reference, blade and diagonal fit; RUBI describes porcelain use as occasional rather than a heavy production role. [13] [14] [15]

RIDGID 8-inch Extended-Rip Wet Tile Saw
RIDGID 8-inch Extended-Rip Wet Tile Saw
Narrow long pieces using a drop-gate table
Why it fits
- R4041S earns its place for the drop-gate table, not simply a larger blade. RIDGID lists a standard 24-inch rip, 18-inch diagonal and 2-3/4-inch depth, plus extended-length cutting for narrow pieces. The gate lowers the table fence for long plank/threshold material; the feature description specifies pieces up to five inches wide. Treat the unlimited-rip headline as this conditional feed arrangement, not unlimited support for wide slabs. The package includes an eight-inch diamond wheel, folding height-adjustable stand, miter guide, rip fence, pump with filter, trays and splash guards. The maker lists ceramic, porcelain and stone. Confirm the cut setup and tile support for the particular long piece before choosing it over a larger cart saw. [16] [17] [18]

Delta Cruzer 10-inch Wet Tile/Stone Saw
Delta Cruzer 10-inch Wet Tile/Stone Saw
A long-rip cart with accessible water handling
Why it fits
- Delta 96-110 is the long-rip alternative with front access to its water tray. The manufacturer lists a 34-inch maximum rip and a 24-inch-square tile on the diagonal. The ten-inch wheel uses a 5/8-inch arbor. Listed depth is 3-3/8 inches at 90 degrees and 1-7/8 inches at 45 degrees; the head tilts to 0, 22.5 and 45 degrees and the manual covers plunge cuts. A removable extension supports larger tile; adjustable nozzles and a pump usable in the tray or a side bucket support water handling. Confirm the blade and stand contents of the actual package—96-110FS is a separate stand bundle. These specifications are not our measurements of cut accuracy or edge chipping. [19] [20] [21]

QEP Power Pro 7-inch Wet Tile Saw
QEP Power Pro 7-inch Wet Tile Saw
An open tabletop with a tilting side table
Why it fits
- 22900Q is the compact table-fed alternative to a sliding cart. QEP lists a seven-inch continuous-rim diamond blade, 5/8-inch arbor and 1-1/8-inch maximum cutting depth. The right table tilts to 15, 30 and 45 degrees. Rip and angle guides position the work, and the product lists no plunge function. Water is caught and returned to the reservoir; an internal baffle reduces excess spray. QEP lists ceramic, porcelain and several stones, with a matching blade required. Its unlimited-size marketing describes open-table feeding, not a cart that supports any slab. Arrange the work support required by the manual and check the actual tile/guide clearance before purchase. [22] [23] [24]

iQ228CYCLONE
iQ228CYCLONE
Avoiding a water reservoir with integrated dust collection
Why it fits
- iQ228CYCLONE is the dry-cut workflow alternative. Its maker specifies an 18-inch rip with the rolling table and over 24 inches without rolling-table travel, with a 1.25-inch cutting depth. The saw combines a vacuum, filter and removable dust tray. It uses a specially designed seven-inch Q-Drive dry-cut blade; the manual says that blade system is required. The current product page lists a combo blade with the saw; verify dealer kit contents. The manual identifies ceramic, porcelain and stone among combo-blade materials and requires dust/filter maintenance. Integrated collection is not an independent exposure assessment or permission to omit required protection. Choose it for the dry setup and matching blade ecosystem, not for a promise of dust-free air or universally chip-free cuts. [25] [26] [27]

Makita CXT Tile/Glass Saw
Makita CXT Tile/Glass Saw
Portable handheld trimming of supported tile
Why it fits
- CC02Z is the handheld specialist for small tile-trimming tasks, not our first choice for repeated full-floor ripping. Makita lists a 3-3/8-inch blade, one-inch depth at 90 degrees and 5/8-inch depth at 45 degrees. The base bevels from 0 to 45 degrees and a 16.9 oz tank feeds water for wet cutting. The manual specifies the wet-type diamond wheel for glass and tile. A handheld saw has no sliding-table rip or diagonal tile rating. The Z package excludes battery and charger; it uses compatible 12V max CXT slide batteries, not old pod-style packs or LXT batteries. Confirm wheel suitability for the actual floor tile and support the work as instructed. Battery portability does not establish fast cutting of dense porcelain. [28] [29] [30]
Before you choose
- It needs compatible CXT power equipment and controlled handheld guidance; it is a specialist supplement to a floor-cutting station. [28] [29] [30]

Check the layout, not just the blade diameter
Measure the longest straight cut, the square tile that must fit diagonally and the material thickness separately. SKIL’s manual distinguishes an 18-inch-square rip from a 12-inch-square diagonal; RIDGID’s seven-inch saw lists 24-inch rip and 18-inch diagonal. A larger blade does not supply the missing cart travel. [7] [4] [3]
Read conditional capacity figures closely. DeWalt separates ordinary rip from a longer plunge; RIDGID’s drop gate extends feeding for narrow material; iQ separates rolling-table travel from longer non-rolling feed. QEP’s open table still needs appropriate tile support. None of these headings means unlimited support for large slabs. [10] [17] [25] [24]
Choose the blade and cleanup workflow together
Match the blade’s material rating, diameter, arbor and wet/dry mode to the saw. QEP calls for continuous-rim wet cutting; iQ requires its Q-Drive dry-cut system. RUBI describes occasional porcelain work, while DeWalt’s selected kits list a porcelain blade. These are model-specific choices, not one blade recommendation for every tile. [22] [24] [26] [15] [2]
Plan where the saw and supported tile will stand, then account for water trays, reservoir or filter maintenance. A wet saw’s baffles do not make the room spill-free, and integrated dry collection does not establish dust exposure. Check stand and blade contents on the exact order; Makita’s handheld Z package also needs compatible CXT batteries and a charger. [6] [9] [27] [21] [30]
How we compared.
Source-based comparison of manufacturer pages and selected manuals read October 22, 2026. Thomas Gaige’s January 2021 Pro Tool Reviews iQ228 report supplies an attributed example of a small subway-tile shower project; it is not a controlled bathroom-floor comparison. We do not adopt its dust-free language or exposure advice. We have not tested cut quality, chipping, noise or dust exposure. Rankings emphasize layout capacity, setup and distinct use cases, independently of commission.
